Tom King should consider writing comics for a living.

Building on the strengths of the 2nd volume, I am Bane explodes with action, but also the fascinating juxtaposition between the Bat and Bane.

Batman's emotions are raw and upfront here, while Bane, on the rampage, threatens everything.

I find myself pretty checked out during the main plotlines of Tom King’s run so far, but I really love the quiet single issues he’s put in here. Stories about adopting Ace and teaming up with Swamp Thing make these feel worth it

King's character work is always one of the highlights of his writing, and it is still on strong form here--especially in his development of the parallels between Batman and Bane.

"The girl needed help, so I helped her. That's all it is. That's all it's ever been."

I think I expected a little more from part 2 of the Bane vs. Batman storyline, but what King did deliver is excellent. There's a complexity to it that is fascinating to experience, and Bane continues to present himself as a foe that will test Batman to the limits.

I didn't have all the backstory that might have been helpful to understanding some of the side characters, but overall, this is a strong continuation of the series. And the Batmam/Catwoman issue at the end is beautiful.

david finch does it again, he once again amazes me with his art.

I love this book from the art to the dialogue in batburger, the humour and the story. I especially love this scene where the robins go out to fight Bane and come back all hanging by ropes, the art in the scene is amazing.

overall great book

Y'all can't be serious. One extra star for the Batburger scene...
