Decent story, very graphic novel-ly (of course). My only real issue was with the quality of the recording, or my hearing, as the case may be. Some of the dialog in the beginning of the recording was unintelligible. Otherwise, a fine production.

This volume collects all three issues of the 30 Days of Night comics. I love vampires and pretty much anything written about them, so that’s what drew me to this. The idea of vampires finding a town bathed in perpetual darkness for a month and wreaking havoc there is simple, but effective. It’s scary, and the climax is an interesting solution to the problem at hand. The art style reminds me of a more adult version of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and definitely adds to the frightening atmosphere of the story.

I found it too short to really get into. The art style was fun in a dreary/creepy sort of way.

Surprisingly good for what could have been a cash grab.

I really can't understand why this series is so famous, it lacks in everything. Despite all that, I will read the rest of it at some point.
