I’m sorry, but I just don’t see the hype with this book. I thought it was awful - and honestly pretty twisted since this guy was basically grooming his future wife. I mean, how the hell is that romantic?

This book took 6 months to read! I kinda lost Interest in reading because of this book, but in a stubborn hope to meet my good reads goal for the year I bucked down, it was slow and confusing for most of book but at the end it finished so fast and sad.. like wtf )):

I read this first when I was probably too young (like 12) and my mum didn't know what the content was (she got it from the library for me LOL) and then again when I was 20. Both times I loved it. Both times I cried.
It's problematic in some ways, I won't deny that, but it works - it just does.
And the ending will always tear my heart apart...

Just one of my favourite ever books. One of the only physical books I’ve held onto through every move, and it’s still as beautiful to me as the first time I read it.
