i don't think it's fair to rate this because I literally read it in under an hour, however, I will say this novella was still classic fredrik backman. i laughed, I cried ( was not expecting this book to hurt as much as it did), i smiled. love him. he never disappoints.

I'm still a little confused about the ending. Was that the grandpa, and then Ted's his son, Noah is his grandson who's actually grown now and has a daughter? So four generations in a room together. Or was the "grandpa" Noah's dad considering Noah is actually an adult in this book? The further I think about the more I believe it's the former. But I'm not 100% sure.

This Novella is only 76 pages and I cried 4 times. I cried because of the story, but I also cried because it reminded me of the relationship I had with my Grandpa and it made me miss him terribly. This was a really touching story.
