An entertaining and humerous read. The characters are definitely the best component of this book, though you'll have to down for them being quite exaggerated.

I don't think this book is incredibly good plot-wise or style-wise, exposition was just directly told to us by other characters and I found the plot a little confusing/random at times, but overall the book was quite the comfort read for me.

If you like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, you could like this as well.

This was a super fun book. Quirky characters, fun vibes, and lots of laughs all around. I wasn't so sure I'd end up enjoying this from the first half of the book but I found myself really engaged by the middle of it. The ending was very satisfying and I'm excited to see what other shenanigans will go on in the next book.

For me, there were two main flaws. Firstly, I wasn't personally a fan of the villain. I can't put me finger on why, but he just felt somewhat bland (and quite annoying by the end of the book). I don't feel like I understood any of his motivations, and it bothered me that it wasn't explored more. Secondly, the supernatural elements of the book were only really explained in a big info dump of a chapter from a character who we know nothing about. It made it a little hard to be invested in what was happening here because it felt like it came out of nowhere.

Either way, I still greatly enjoyed this book and would recommend it - especially if you're a Terry Pratchett fan.
