Thoroughly enjoyed the first issue but was left sorely disappointed by the second ):
It wasn’t the subject matter at all, the contents page was really what convinced me to purchase the magazine in the first place. It was really just the awkward phrasing and bad writing that made it difficult to trudge through this issue. I mean I’m not the most literate person out there so maybe I’m just not the magazine’s clientele. I just found it frustrating to read some of the articles because of how awkward some of the sentences were. I think the editors probably tried their best to salvage whatever they received from contributors so this is nothing on them.
Anyways this is just me though, maybe if Infinite Jest was a breeze for you, you’d enjoy this issue more than I did.
Oh I should also add, I’ll still be buying their next issue and the next one and the one after that too because what the people at Mynah are doing is important.
