Love that Luffy's being smart here - the fight with Eneru is genuinely interesting, with Luffy trying multiple different techniques as well as realising that rubber doesn't conduct electricity. One star docked because I strongly dislike how Nami's bravery and competence keeps getting dialed back, at the same time as she's made to use increasingly less clothing. Ugh.

Also, I've switched to reading in black and white, rather than the full colour versions. The pink-white native Americans were just too much. This helps a little.

➽ We're nearing the end of this Saga, so things are bound to get intense! Enel's power is so great that he easily defeats Zoro and the others and Nami is forced to take off with him in order to survive. What I loved is that Luffy is his only natural enemy because he's a rubber man! The face Enel makes when he finds out is hilarious 😂 The fight is still tough as Enel's a strong enemy and his Mantra combined with his powers make him near unbeatable. Luckily, Usopp and Sanji are up again after being hit by his lightning and rescue Nami! Sanji messes with Enel's ship but still gets blasted with lightning again to help the others get away - my poor boy 🥺

âž½ Enel's starting to destroy all of Skypiea just because he can! I really felt for Conis, as she's trying to get everyone to evacuate, but has been branded a criminal. Enel's judgement still holds a lot of sway on the people, so it takes some time for them to spring into action. Conis' bravery and will to save her people really stood out to me!
