Absolutely loved this 2nd book in the Radleigh University series. Cait is a kickass heroine full of drive and vulnerability. She's a total mess and this book blends my favorite things--complicated girls, pretty people, and second chances. It's sexy and the banter, as with any Adler novel, is spot on and fun. I cannot wait for the next Radleigh tale.

I really like Adler's writing style, and I like even more the representation on her books. I LOVED that this couple, as the one in the first book, was interracial. Cait is a white girl and Mase is a black guy, in any moment this is a taboo, no one makes bad coments about it. Just like the LGBT characters are just people, no drama about it, just people.
I only wish there were more scenes of the couple interracting in the present. Mase wasn't very charismatic, I didn't get exactly why he decided to break up with Cait and I didn't get his relationship with Andi either. I wish I could see him the way Cait sees, but just like Jake, I just don't get him. But Cait is a cinnamon roll, I really loved her, I loved how she react to her family drama, I loved how she give everything for her team and I loved how secure she is.
SpoilerI just didn't like that part where she decides to give up the game for Mase, I really didn't get it, but I liked how things turnd out.

This is a good NA book, and this is a great author. I will definitely read more of her books.

second chance romance, that's the stuff i like

tho cards on table this was a little thinner on the romance i would have liked? but that was mostly because cait had a lot of other stuff going on in her life and i can't honestly complain about a protagonist being TOO fleshed out, it simply isn't in me. so yeah i would've liked a bit more interaction between mase and cait rather than relying on investment in a prior relationship we don't get to see but ehh. had a good time regardless. and now IT'S FRANKIE/SAMARA TIME HELL YES

Not as good as the first. I think I would've liked it better if Jake were a viable candidate for Cait's affections too. This seemed too easy and predictable.

Pretttttty close to perfect, as usual. Super well-rounded NA that mixed friends and romance and family and sports(!) all together. I loved that Caitlin and her sister Cammie stuck up for themselves and said what I was thinking throughout the whole book. Just such a huge fan of everything Dahlia writes! Seriously.

I have gotten completely sucked into the Radleigh University world, and I don't hate it. The second book of the trilogy, I would argue, is even better than the first. I loved that Cait and Mase had a history, and their problems were both real and very college-aged. It felt real and genuine and it made me want even more of their world. Good thing I have the third book up next, to round out the trilogy!
