What I like about this is that Mayer took some of the unsavory characteristics about this story and made it a little more palatable for a pre-schooler's taste.

Toooooooo cute! You probably know the story of Hansel and Gretel so I will not recap. But I love Meyer illustrations and Little Critter. The thing that makes this story perfect is the crow and his sarcastic quips. Perfect for any age.
