This was honestly a really fun story, but I can’t say I particularly liked any of the characters. They’re all train wrecks.

A little too erotic for my tastes, but definitely an eye-opener. Following the main characters changing relationship with food, her own body, religion and other characters was riveting. I read this book in a day! To this who don’t like sex or sexual desire openly stated in a book, this is not the one for you!

Wow. What to say about this book. I originally started listening to this on audio when I was playing a game with my partner. The material at the beginning of the novel is disturbing. This novel has triggers for a lot of things, but the main thing to know is this book features all kinds of eating disorders.

I’d heard a lot about this book before I actually picked it up. It’s been on a lot of lists of Jewish rep, and is written by (and about) a queer Jewish person. I actually thought that the rep, while problematic about the orthodox community, was very accurate regarding someone Jewish who is particularly separated from the community. Overall, this book was an experience, but bound to be extremely polarizing.
