This is tough....

The art is brilliant to a degree that is almost indescribable. There isn't a single page of this book that doesn't belong in the finest art museum's in the world. I have no words. I could look at each page for an hour and still not grasp the full depth and wonder of the art.

I'm a pretty big Neil Gaiman fanboy but I spent 70% of this book trying to figure out what the hell was going on and what was going through Gaiman's head. I'm sure if I read it another 10 times I would understand the story but I'm not there yet. Just confusing.

My highest possible recommendation for this book because nobody should live their lives and not experience art this amazing but the recommendation comes with an asterisk in that I have no idea what the hell happened in the story or what it was about.

Oh my god. One of the foldouts gave me actual goosebumps. I almost cried. Incredible.

Okuduğum 11 Sandman kitabı arasında belki de çizimleri en güzel olan buydu. Bildiğim kadarıyla Gaiman ve ekibi bu kitap için oldukça fazla uğraşmış ve bu emek gerçekten hissediliyor okurken. Uvertür Sandman evreninde ilk kitap gibi olsa da bence diğerlerini okumadan okumak biraz şevkinizi kırabilir. Uvertür okuması çok kolay değildi, özellikle başlarda olmak üzere ara ara kendimi kaybettiğimi fark ettim ki bu evrene oldukça hakim olmama rağmen (öyle düşünüyorum en azından). Yine de baştan sonra elimden bırakmak istemediğim bir kitap oldu ve tekrardan çizimleri övmeden edemeyeceğim çünkü gerçekten bir çoğunu büyütüp odanıza asabilirsiniz. Hikaye de oldukça güzeldi, özellikle bazı sürpriz karakterler vardı. Rüya aracılığıyla "Sonsuz" konseptini de çok güzel işlemişler. Sandman severlerin kaçırmaması gereken bir kitap olmuş.
