Cool concept, but I couldn’t stay in to it. Lots of skimming after 50%.

I stopped right before the end. I got bored. It felt much too long.

This was my first foray into the monster f*cker genre and what an introduction! The characters were lovable and the spicy scenes were SPICY, I was kicking my feet and holding my breath in suspense within the same chapter. Only brought it down to four stars due to some spelling and continuity errors (meaning to mention Will instead of JD in a scene for example) but overall I loved this book and I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

3.5 stars. I wanted to round this up to 4 stars, but the guys scared Desi too bad for me! I almost stopped reading because they were so frightening to her, and on purpose. I know they're monsters or Concepts but still... I liked Will, JD, and Penn, but my favorite was Desi navigating all of them.

This makes me want an age gap romance with the Loch Ness Monster and the Will-o'-the-wisp.

I won this ebook in a giveaway on Facebook, and I’m so glad I did. This was such a fun and steamy read! I had never read an erotic story with a 4-way partnership before, and it was so intriguing to me. The monsters were mouthwatering, and the fear scenes were delightfully twisted. I found Desi’s confusion and hot/cold responses to be very realistic given the circumstances. Girl’s emotions were all over the place, as would mine be. My only complaint is that I want MOREEE of these 4.

*kinda spoilery depending on your opinion of a spoiler* —
I loveddd the whole dynamic they had going on, with Penn & JD being so dominant and Will & Desi being submissive. But I especially loved how when sweet submissive Will would get his hands on Desi, it brought out a dominant/intimidating side of him that I didn’t expect.
