In a claustrophobic atmosphere where Bernarda Alba becomes a widow and believes in locking herself up with her daughters for years in mourning.
A fast read, very realistic and unique.
Based on true events, on the Alba family that lived in his hometown, in Asquerosa, Granada.
Written a few weeks before GL was killed during the civil war in Spain.
