This reads like a less dramatic version of The Vow.

I'm not sure it all flows. We hear from everyone in Birdie's life that she and Hayes had a solid, everyone wants to be them relationship.

So the beginning, where she flees without giving him a chance to speak seems very out of character with what we learn about them.

The blurb made me think the story and mystery would have a more sinister undertone, like there was a bad guy lurking in the background.

I was a little disappointed.

It's a great read, Hayes is a fantastic character and I'll totally take him if no one else wants him.

I did expect more though.

Remember Me is the story of Birdie and Haynes and how they have to fall in love all over again after Birdie has a car accident that result in the loss of her memory. She has no recollection of anything after her college graduation, that means she doesn’t remember Hayes, doesn’t remember what or even how to do her job and doesn’t remember herself. This is a truly beautiful story that shows love and devotion in its utmost purest forms. I could definitely feel Birdie’s frustrations when it came to not being able to remember anything about the person she was or the people she knew. It would be a very hard and traumatic experience to go through

Thank you to BookSirens and the publisher for giving me a free eARC.

I adored this book! Hayes and Birdie were so cute. I was gripped from the first chapter. I also liked the secondary characters, Levi and Remi.

Birdie has everything but an accident, which leaves her with amnesia, threatens her perfect life. Will she ever remember her life before?

The story was a light, fun read usually typical of a romance. At times, it reminded me of the movie 'The Vow'.
The best part was reading the interactions between Hayes and Birdie.
A few editing errors such as the wrong name or a future event being cast as the past are there, but I'm sure those have been edited out in the final copy.
I don't usually read a lot of romances, so a 3 star rating from me is not bad. :)

The concept of falling back into yourself while juggling romance is a theme I've read before. I came into this one with an open mind though. The recovery is an individual experience so I didn't expect predictability or a formula for the read. I looked forward to seeing how events unfolded with the characters and how Birdie worked through her memories (or lack there of).

The Good:

The book was an easy read. Very sweet. Well written (descriptions, word choice, etc.) Also, I enjoyed the references to other authors in the story. Not something that I see very often. People usually only mention oldies, but goodies. Pleasant surprise there. Overall, I enjoyed the read. Would recommend to a friend looking for a romance to pick up.

The Not-so Good:

The actions/choices of some characters didn't really make sense to me. Not giving away spoilers, so I can't be more specific than that. I think a bit more character development would have connected some of the dots easier for me.
