Having a friend return changed is hard, but part of life. I love the conclusion to that relationship, and I didn't see it coming. I truly hope there's more to this series.

It was fantastic to finally meet Fata Morgana! Everything surrounding her made me love her even more, honestly.

Over all the book was great! Would have rated it 5 stars if not for a couple of things.
The only things that bother me was the rape of Ralph that Maddy helped cover up, and the fact that there was very little resolution in this book. I understand the need to keep the plot open for future books. But the resolution was minor.

Yasmine Galenorn creates a world where you become absorbed in the struggles of the characters, each and every story will immerse you in a realm you can only visit through the pages. Once again she hits this right on the head! You will be laughing one minute and bitching about something that happened in the story. The story becomes so real that I've been known to complain about something one of the characters did to my husband as if they were a real person.
