Loved it! Their communication was ass at the end but the story was super good! Every time they poked at Brogan’s fear of children I knew his book would be with a kid, and it was so good and just sweet. They moved fast (mind you I was on page 70 within an hour) and I really enjoyed the fast pace of their relationship but I do feel like they were kind of lacking in character depth. We knew their background but it didn’t really show when they talked to each other about it nor did it seem like we really got into who they were as characters. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this story and I love how soft Brogan got for Skye and Fiona. They’re such a cute family <3

Once again, this book was spoiled for me by a female mc who I just didn’t like. I was worried at first that this many story would be too similar to Gage and Bailey’s but it wasn’t and so for that, I liked that this felt different. And I really like Brogan and how well he adapted and how he called his daughter “little demon”. It was cute. And in the beginning, I liked Fiona. She was a good nanny. And she wasn’t annoying. But then she was. Her commitment issues were annoying, and considering she had a masters in child psychology or whatever it was, you’d think she’d be a bit more mature about adult relationships but no. She doesn’t tell him how she feels right away, because she’s scared. She doesn’t listen to him explain his reasoning behind a comment he says, again because she’s filled with doubts that she’s put there herself. So she runs. And doesn’t listen. And it all boils down to her mommy issues but she blames Brogan. It just frustrates me so much how terribly they all seem to communicate in these books hahah.
