Definitely lived up to the author's warning: Dark, not really a romance, etc. That's all fine, I had a clear picture before going in, I just didn't feel like I connected with any of the characters, and it didn't drum up any emotion.

The way I stayed up ALL night reading this in one sitting. I was up until about 3/4 AM like I didn’t work at 8AM smh. Now THIS book was dark romance!! “Sugar, spice, and everything nice”…..absolutely not. More like “Took her, spliced ropes, and ice”

The plot and storyline had a lot of potential, though for me there were a lot of holes that could have been filled deeper, in more ways than one😏

With that said though, the t@boo scenes fill enough of that empty space to leave you satiated.🫠

So If you’re looking for a super spicy, boundary-pushing t@boo-themed read, this duet should really be on your TBR list 🤌

i liked some of the plot, but i feel like the whole book was the intro or the start. the ending was very abrupt and i think it could’ve continued for at least another 50 pages.

I wanted to like this one as much as wanna play a game but the story just wasn't as developed. The reasoning behind the whole situation was vague at best and completely implausible.

I would've liked a little more depth. And also the shibori scene was just...weird. like not sexy, not hot, and super vague. Such a lost opportunity.
