Really enjoyed it most of the way through but felt that all the big reveals fell a bit flat after so much build up, but overall an intriguing read, and much different to what I usually read

I originally started reading this book at the beginning of the year. I then had a couple new books come in the mail and I put it off and said I'd try to return to it later.

I dove back into this book again and tbh, I really enjoyed it and it was such a roller-coaster ride that I had to see where it ended.

I will admit the mystery wasn't really the pay-off, it was the 'how and why' that really intrigued me. Which is why I rated it down a star. I cared more about figuring out who this Quantam-Leap dude was, why the story was written the way it was, and what the end-game was than who killed Eveln Hardcastle.

I say this book is if you took Clue, mixed it with Quantam Leap, then added a dash of Agatha Christie. If you like murder mysteries then you will love this book.

Turton is so smart and this book is crazy detailed. It’s just so many characters. I don’t want to have to write notes to enjoy a book.

This book is what reading is all about! Intricately woven, fast paced, and unique. It was so much fun to read and get deeper and deeper into this mystery. I loved it!
