The only good thing about this cluster fuck was Luke, or Grant - whatever you wanna call him.

The leads, Gray and Livia were just going in circles over and over. They kept repeating “I love you” five times each chapter, and neither of them could actually love each other when faced with adversity. Trust who? Communication who? Understanding who? Miscommunication for the win.

I am honestly not sure there was love, their entire story was mostly about their physical chemistry but again, what do I know?

The worst part was Livia dragging Luke along, knowing he loved her. Saying "I want him in my life" and then forgetting he was hurting too as soon as Gray and she reconciled - wow so much love. Like I said, cluster fuck of epic proportions.

The author also has done no research about rape and abuse victims and it shows, just taking therapy for year isn't enough remedy especially wrt the back story she gave Livia. Honesty it felt like she has added things for shock value. Extremely poor attempt.

One star for Luke and one star for barb and Livia's friends ✌️

Gray and Livia were in love. The day after Gray proposed to Livia, she disappeared.
Gray was devastated and never got over her.
Years later they meet again.
Gray is angry, in love and determined to understand why Livia left him and disappeared.
Livia left because of her father's gambling debts. She was forced to marry another man.
I loved Gray's character. Despite Livia leaving him, he doesn’t want to hurt her. He just wants the truths and a chance to get her back.
He was very mature in his conduct and my heart broke for him.
Livia was reluctant at first , to share her past with Gray, believing they don’t have a future together, but Gray did everything in his power to earn her trust.

I almost always go in blind and this was no exception. I loved their love story ❤️ Hearing what happened while she was gone was tough and the twist with Grant was not what I saw coming! All in all, great listen!

Wow!!!!!, I’m speechless. This book is one of the best books I’ve read by far. It’s everything you look for in a book. A Little bit of all. It's also my first read by K.L. Kreig, and it won't be the last.

Cocksure, suave, drop dead gorgeous, and sweet. That's exactly how you can describe Gray Colloway, and yeah, absolutely relentless. I fell in love with Gray instantly, he’s the perfect package, every women’s fantasy. Personally, I love a man who goes after what he wants. Gray wanted Livia, so he got her.

Angel face, breathtaking curves and smart as hell. Livia Kingsley, the overworked waitress from the wrong side of the tracks, is all what Gray wants. she does not let people in her inner bubble, mostly because her father is a gambler, and her mother left her and her sister when she was only 8 years old.

Briefly, Gray and Livvy fell in love and then the day after Gray proposed, Livia just up and left him. when they met again after 5 years, sparks fly, and it's clear for both of them that they are still in love with each other. But you know what they say, '' if they can leave you once, they can leave you twice ''. Before Gray can fully open up to her again, he needs some answers. He needs to know why she left him. But some things are better left hidden. Once the secret is out, more pain will be caused, and hearts will break again. Would love strong enough to heal wounds?. Can broken things be fixed?.

This was a roller coaster ride, i enjoyed every moment of it. And the sex is sooooooo HOOOOOT, the scenes had me squirming in my chair. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as i did.

Just wow

It was so hard to have to put it down each time I had to because it's just that good. The love that they have for each other is something I feel all woman dream of having. It also shows that when you love some unconditionally, you are able to move on from things you feel you can't get past. This is my first book by K.L. Kreig and I plan on reading more of her books. She just received a new fan thanks to this book. I recommend that if you haven't read this book or her other books, you won't be disappointed with this one. I also plan on reading more of her books, especially if they are anything like this one.

Lies, Deception, sacrifices, betrayal and so much more in this story. Livia has less than 60 seconds to decide her fate. Gray is blindsided on the disappearance of his day old fiance and for five years struggles with what really happened to Livia. Until one day fate places them in the same venue and their past comes back to haunt Livia and Gray.

Livia struggles with how Gray will take the true story of what happened to her. Gray hires a PI and what he finds out destroys what they have worked to get in the second chance of their relationship. Will Gray finally hear out what Livia went through and listen to others advice that he needs to hear her story before destroying the best thing that has happened to him-finding Livia again!

Livia had to endure so much and finding out that what that horrible creeper did to her didn't work was the best twist of all in the story. No spoilers so that is all I will say!! The Cinderella theory the author makes in this story is spot on and I couldn't have said it better. Can't wait to see what transpires in the next Colloway Brothers story!

I got this book for free and LOVED it. Such heartache for both characters in this story. Livvy went through hell and still came out alive is great. Gray is intense and sweet at the same time.
