God, M.A.! How can you create such perfect characters! I'm in love with both of them and that's a complete different story from me only liking their chemistry together.

This was written so good, I just couldn't put the d@mn thing down and take a breath until I finished it.

This book made me laugh countless times and if I wasn't laughing my @ss off you can bet I was grinning. Chris was the biggest drama queen and I loved him for it he was halirious. Ethan was just as good, wonderfully wicked. The sex was hot especially the
Spoiler'hump my foot'
scene it was smoking hot, I was dying to see it from book one of this series when Kyle almost had Nick
Spoilercoming while humping his leg.

So I got hot sex, funny and wicked characters and reasonable development speed all warped in one book? PERFECT!

Definitely gonna read it again, that's mostly thanks to the comedy element.

Christopher and Ethan

Oh man this story was full of laughs for me. Especially the scene with the guys at the store. I wish there was after the final chapter. It just seemed to end slightly abruptly for me. Still a great book. I don't know if I could handle being in Ethan's situation with all the things that got him going, lol. Loved his character.

This felt like little boys playing at being Master and humiliation slut, but maybe that was what the author was going for considering that this takes place during the early years of college. It felt light and fluffy and very insta-Master and insta-lovey for my tastes, but I can see that it might appeal to some.

Very sexy but rushed and emotionally unconvincing.

If you're into humiliation kink and control, this has some good scenes. I especially enjoyed one of their initial scenes where Christopher has to ask Ethan if he can get off by humping his shoe. Don't try to judge me, ok? It was hot.

Where I struggled was that these guys have been roommates for...I'm not entirely sure how long, I think months, but they don't know each other at all - and when Ethan finds out Christopher has been secretly lusting after him, Ethan just dives right in the deep end and decides he's going to date Christopher exclusively and also be his master.

It was cute, but it fell pretty flat.

For the oh-so-limited level of development between the MCs, there were too many extraneous scenes with cameos from previous books, and features of later books. Please, can I just have this story first?

Individually, there were a lot of scenes that I really enjoyed, but as a whole unfortunately I found it quite lacking. I've enjoyed other books by this author though and will still read on!

Sexual content: Explicit, frequent, well-written.
SpoilerRimming, intercrural, grinding, blowjobs, handjobs

Kink:
SpoilerVery mild feminisation (panties), cock-cages, time out, master/slave dynamic, exhibitionism, control, orgasm denial, spanking

I absolutely adored the characters of this book. The chemistry between Ethan and Christopher was off the charts. The humiliation play was amazing. The visit to the adult store was

Oh boy, chapter 14 sure was steamy! I honestly would love to see Derek get his own book. He was adorable.

I had stopped reading M. A. Innes' books because they felt like reading the same book but only the characters' names changed and with way too much introspection.
This book kept appearing in my recommend so I finally read it and although it was definitely a M. A. Innes' book. I do not regret the read.
