Didn’t live up to the promise of the blurb. Found it very slow. Quite dull and a bit depressing.

Well, I'd hoped I would be thoroughly traumatised after reading this book, but was disappointed. Just like the other reviewers here I agree that the book should've been longer to have the space to develop the tension and explore the feeling of helplessness.
This book had such great promise but I don't think it succeeded, unfortunately.
