Just like in book three, while I enjoyed this book, it felt like not a lot happened. Charlie and Nick’s relationship grew and was very focused on “taking the next step” but not much else. I still really like the characters and the themes that are pertinent to this age group, and can’t wait to read more about these characters!

I will always be bias about heartstoppers because it helped me come out, but this volume sheds light to topics such as self-harm, eating disorders, and body dysmorphia. They also tell the stories of young LGBTQ youth so I thank heartstoppers for that.
