The Clementine books are really fun and great for younger readers! This fourth installment of the curly-headed gal, doesn't disappoint. My favorite aspect of the Clementine books is her chagrin at being named after a fruit and her younger brother is not named for a food. Consequently, she always calls him by a different vegetable name (i.e., broccoli, potato, etc.). The reader never knows his real name.

Clementine always makes me smile. She's funny and kindhearted. I love how her parents humor her and with each book her brother grows a little more and become his own character.
A great addition to the series that I really look forward to booktalking and sharing with kids.

This is another great entry in the [b:Clementine|517344|Clementine (Clementine, #1)|Sara Pennypacker|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1441718778l/517344._SX50_.jpg|505277] series. My kids continue to enjoy listening to it, and even my husband can't help laughing.

Our first of this series. Read aloud to 7 and 10yo. All three of us loved it. Laughed out loud. I was not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. A Ramona for a new generation.

I love this series. Some of my favorite readalouds, especially after trudging through a half dozen of those goddam Rainbow Fairy books.

Clementine at her best. Funny, sweet, sensitive. I love Clementine's imagination - who else would, when her friend asks for a goat "tattoo", draw a bush and tell her friend that the goat was behind it? But it's how Clementine deals with the disappearance of her cat that was most poignant.
