So beautiful. A remarkable memoir in every way, challenging my own notions of how/what/who I’m attached to. I’ve never read a book with no chapters, but the format worked so well as a medium for storytelling. And boy did I want to listen to those stories!

Beautiful writing.

It was great to read such a strong voice in prose. I bet at the time it must’ve been groundbreaking as a story from the perspective of women for women about women, in a certain way it still is.
