This book is all over the place. It was so hard to keep track of who was talking and then there were just way too many characters. Every time some outside creature was mentioned I had no idea what they were talking about as the writing gave no hint to what the original term was. It really felt like there was no plot except a bunch of cats and wolves learning to get along, constantly mating, and learning to read. It just wasn’t compelling enough for me and the description of the book just didn’t match the story inside.
