This mystery was entertaining, with some likable protagonists (Molly and Liv) and a satisfying conclusion.

I loved this book! Great plot with complex, well-developed characters and dialogue. I can see why folks don’t like the ending but I thought it ended in an unexpected, realistic way.

“Here’s the thing about posting something online: once it’s out there, you can never take it back. It belongs to the world now, not just to you.”

So many of us have learned the above lesson. I hope it doesn’t take you down this dark and dreary illusion of being the best you can be online. Hiding what your real life really is, how you are affected by outside influences, and how your peers and followers think about you. A race to the end in this story because I wanted to see if I knew who it was, and I was right! There is a lot of chasing your tail in this story, spins and circle backs, and a bunch of nonsense that might take you off the charted course of the eventual end. A relevant story, one that we should all wonder when posting about ourselves online. Because your online self is different from your real self.

“Our society has become fragmented—women used to live in these tight-knit communities with their sisters and mothers and aunts and cousins, but now we’re all isolated. I think women are looking for that sense of connection in social media.”

A great thriller with multiple points of view, an influencer perceptive I typically don’t spend a lot of time with, and plot twists.

Read for a YouTube video, really enjoyed the book, the plot felt very basic but I loved the mixed media with the Reddit pages, podcast and posts that were made about Molly.

A solid, entertaining listen. Nothing special/standout but intriguing enough nonetheless! A little cheesy, far-fetched, and simplistic at times, but that comes with the territory, and there was a little more nuance in this one than expected!
