I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and the story is really good... but you can only go on for so long with a series without it getting boring.

There were some great parts to this, and I'm glad I read it, it just wasn't my favorite ever.

My favorite of the series so far! The fantasy of Foo is still pretty weird, but after three books it beginning to grow on me. I enjoyed the few paragraphs of descriptive commentary at the beginning of each chapter, and I appriciate the humor. Also, the author is keeping the story going in "reality" as well, and it's fun to picture the land of foo and the real world on a collision course--maybe some of the detestable, rotten characters will have opportunity for redemption in the end.

Three stars because the fantastical land of Foo is just too far removed from reality for me to become completly engaged. It's like my imagination has a hard time getting to the places the imagination of the author has gone. There's still two more books to read, hopefully I'll get there soon!

The imagination is pulled through this whole story. I love how on one page there can be a description of a complete world and on the next another complete scenario that is so detailed and perfect that the mind can easily follow. My favorite was Rast checking on the key. LOL I would never check on it either!

The third book in the Leven Thumps series. Leven, Geth, and Winter are chasing the whispered secret before it reveals itself to the wrong people. During the chase they are separated. Geth and Winter fall into the clutches of the evil Azure, and Leven travels to the island of Lith to meet with the mysterious Want. Before the three friends are reunited secrets are revealed, war is begun, a new gateway is found, and Foo is in more danger than ever. Another charming installment in this series.
