The alien planet and society is interesting, but I hated Georgie so much. She forgot about the other women so fast once she got laid by an alien, and she knew it was shitty, and then she makes the same damn choice later. Someone dies because of this, and the others make it out like a good thing too? Just because the dead girl struggled with the trauma of being sa'd by their captors at the start? Fuck that nonsense.

idk what i was expecting but its just sex with a story that could be good if the writing was better. Its like watpad dont expect anything more

This book starts out dark with a rather triggering first chapter so please read the warnings!
Quickly turns into a funny, smutty, alien romance page turner after the first couple chapters.

Look, I did enjoy the book, but PLEASE read the trigger warnings. I got the book cause the tiktok hype
but did not see anyone mention that a character is forced to have an abortion and another is raped in the first chapter of the book
It gets MUCH better after the first 1.5 chapters and then is the silly smut blue alien book but I was horrified in the beginning.

I went into this book with absolutely no high expectations. I was right to not expect much from this book.

This book has an interesting concept. Abducted by alien, abandoned in a remote world, and courted by an unfamiliar species.

That concept was not executed well, at all. The book felt super rushed, and the world building is minimal. To be fair, the lack of world building probably helps with the plot, which is essentially just mature sexual themes.

The two main characters, Georgie and Vetkal, aren’t inherently dislikable. They just have absolutely no personality aside from their sexual prowess. 

Speaking of sexual aspects, for a book that mainly consists of said sexual themes, I’ve honestly read better. Even those spicy moments felt rushed and boring.

Also! I found nothing about this when researching the book, but it contains
sexual violence
.

So, if you are looking for an interesting plot and world, this isn’t the book to read. If you want something just to pass time and you enjoy reading smut, feel free to give it a try.

honestly, this book was very fun… like yes its alien smut but its written in a fun way and the world was actually pretty interesting? 🤔

Entertaining and short. The world building was definitely there, but the length of the book was short because it touched but didn't delve into some topics that would make the book a lot darker - like Georgie's worry about the family and friends she left behind, or thoughts of returning home. 

CW/TW: the rape scene is in the beginning, was easy to skip over, and then was only mentioned a few times. This topic was not written about in depth after it occurred on page.
