Was it bad? Absolutely. Was it also entertaining and ridiculous? Of course. 

I was in the mood for a silly head empty book and was finally wore down enough to start this series. The opening act almost immediately being SA is giving a teenager writing their first “edgy” fanfic, but in true tumblr form I trudged through that and overall it was essentially exactly what I expected from an alien romance novel recommended to me by TikTok.

I really wasn’t down with the rape scene it didn’t add anything to the story and it was never mentioned again. It was hurtful and not written respectfully.
