Got this as a kindle freebie. Such a lovely little Hallowe’en themed novella. Had me laughing out loud a couple of times. The conflict felt relatable. Good character development, even in such a short book. Will definitely want to read more by this author.

This was a short story/novella form of a romance with a Halloween theme. It deals with two characters developing a romance in the present after hating each other in the past. It's geared towards New Adult readers probably and is plenty vulgar (F bombs and other language), although light on the descriptive sex actually. It was pretty predictable but a very fast read.

Meh. This was fine, for a novella. Nothing wrong with it, but also nothing I’ll be thinking about for years to come.

Things I liked:
Our heroine and the way her various ghoulist costumes & acts were described.
Haunted house enthusiasts? Yes.
Her weird obsession with the death scene in the chain saw movie.
Their relationship was pretty cute.
The doll thing? I felt like that had a deeper meaning that i didn't get, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Things I didn't like:
"I used to be a bully but I swear I'm really nice now."
The fact that they went from "You made my life a living hell" to "let's make out on the couch" in like a week.
Her overwhelming guilt. I won't read book two. Will probs read 3 though. The writing was good.

Actually kind of spooky and scary! The heroine is working at a haunted house when a well known horror blogger is scheduled to stop by– except he’s the same kid she used to torture and bully in middle school. Of course, romance blossoms! Until he finds out who she really is! By setting the story in a haunted house, Andrews is able to bring some of the thrills and chills of the season into the story. Did the heroine grovel enough to make up for her past? I don’t know. I still gave it 4 stars.
