A promising start to a series. Reminded me of Twilight, except not terrible, and featuring elves, dwarves, and snakemen instead of vampires and werewolves. The art is pretty professional. Looking forward to more.

Overall: a gory, horny, and adventurous fantasy. This was a page-turner but overall did not wow me. Some of the world-building was a little more than I had patience to figure out (probably a me thing though). I enjoyed having a strong and sassy female co-lead, even though she was hyper-sexualized and stereotypical in a lot of ways. Also having a short hero was a fun change. I’d be interested to read the second graphic novel in this series when it comes out!

I really enjoyed this! It wasn’t what I was expecting but not in a bad way because it made it kind of more interesting. I liked the characters and plot. I did also enjoy the art style.
