This was a great universe. Looking forward to the next book.

I really wanted to like this book because of its feminist message and fairy tale tendencies, but ultimately, I found its sci-fi system confusing, its exposition dense,  and its over-reliance on telling instead of showing to draw me out of the story.

I loved this. Fairies AND spaceships?!? A badass princess?!? All it was missing was a space dragon.

This was a lot of fun. One small quibble - the use of the word "multiverse" in the title was misleading. The book did mention multiverse theory a couple of times, but it had nothing to do with the story at all, there weren't multiple realities in play, it was just the regular old universe. I found that mildly annoying but still enjoyed the book a lot.
