I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that.
SpoilerRémy x Camille ❤️❤️❤️
Also I don't know how to feel about Amber, like, I'm sad that she died, but she betrayed Camille

Not as in love with The Everlasting Rose as I was with The Belles. A part of me feels like this is a relationship where I didn't get "closure," despite knowing (? will there be another) it's over and done. Still, I enjoyed my adventure back into the Belles' world.

Edit: there’s going to be another one book in this series.

Everything felt too easy and too predictable

I loved the first book in the series and was excited to read the finale. The world building here is great again, and the story really focuses in on Camellia's journey as she attempts to reunite with her sisters and bring the rightful queen to the throne. This is a great dystopian series!

I enjoyed this book more than the first. I enjoyed the world building, the writers prose and the story overall. Though I did find the pacing a bit slow and at times the world building overshadowing the story. There were a lot of very interesting concepts but it felt at times a bit “cut” and “paste” with other dystopian-esque YA novels.
