“You said it yourself, Luc. Ideas are wilder than memories. And I can be wild. I can be stubborn as the weeds, and you will not root me out. And I think you are glad of it. I think that’s why you’ve come, because you are lonely too.”

I DNF’d this book the first time I tried to read it but then I picked it up again. I almost DNF’d it AGAIN!!! It is just sooooo hard to get into! I love the entire idea of the book but it dragged so much! I hated how often she’d go back to her little home town I’d just skim through it. I loved Henry so much though and Luc was a bit scary at times but I also liked him sometimes?????? Idk, it was a little boring for me overall. It took me so long to read it too because of that

Omg I did not expect this to be so good. A great amount of romance, I loved the timeline jumps. Usually I don’t read things that are a bit “paranormal” or that include supernatural beings but it really wasn’t too out there. I personally wish the ending was slightly different but it wasn’t bad at all. I think if I read it in book form rather than audiobook it would have hit me in the feels a whole lot more but definitely made me teary at one point.
