I enjoyed this book. I was wary of the other comments about the twist but I liked the twist although I can kind of see the point of some of the comments about the ending.

SpoilerBasically boy meets girl, they are crazy in love and the girl ends up crazy full stop. Things start happening to him and his friends/acquaintances. Is this the work of a crazy jealous girlfriend?

4.25 stars. This book was highly engaging, intense and quite intricate. Whilst I enjoyed it, I do agree with other readers and reviewers in regards to the ending.
SpoilerI would've been a lot more disturbed if the story continued down the abusive relationship route. I also dislike how Andrew hadn't seen any evidence of a change in Charlie before forgiving her destructive behaviour. She hadn't attended the therapy sessions prior and lied about it before.  Though I won't lie, the last scene did manage to tug on my heart strings.

Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed this book up until that final plot twist and I was so disappointed. I mean

, really? It just seemed so out of left field. If anything,

would have been the better choice as the “surprise psycho” rather than some complete rando that was barely in the entire book. Total bummer ending after what was such an incredibly well written psychological thriller.

This book really missed its mark. The story was a red-flag minefield, but you'll forget about because you'll be focused on how dumb the narrator is. He's dating a virtual stranger and literally doesn't notice for like 200 pages.

Popsugar 2020 challenge: A book in which a character has a vision impairment. (Can't believe I filled that prompt!)

So twisted, i loved it.

Noticed a few mistakes in the book thought that didnt make sense but didn't put me off.

The right mix of chilling.

Watch who you fall for.

Such a good book loved all the twists and turns trying to figure out the ending. The second book I have read by this author and won't be the last. Would recommend

I have just finished re - reading this book and I completely devoured it in a morning. I think with the rereading and knowing about 'that' twist definitely made me read the book a little differently, and I started seeing clues that I had missed the first time round.

A compelling story - Mark Edwards is a master of his genre.

Really good til the end. Not everything needs a twist!
