To be honest I wasnt expecting much from this book. But once again it proved me wrong to look at reviews before reading. I enjoyed reading this one. Cant wait for the next one in series.

MY WIFE. A forced marriage is one of my favorite tropes! Especially when the man falls first. *swoon* 

Isabel’s trauma was understandable but the way she almost punished Gio by letting him in- was interesting. 

I do like the world Claire is building and can’t wait to continue the series.

I really am enjoying the Because Series.

This couple is Gio and Isabel.

Isabel’s life is thrown by the death of her father. Who she once thought was just a painter…but learned so much more. While meeting with his lawyers, she finds out that she is married to a man she never met…never realizing she signed a marriage license.

Gio is part of the mafia family (Cat from book 1’s brother). He is thrown when told he is married. They discuss that he is to stay married to get something that Isabel’s father had.

Twist and turns. This is an arranged marriage, not quiet enemies to lovers, mafia love story.

I can’t wait to dive more into the Because series!
