Read for a class.

Fascinating in terms of social/historical constructions of identity, especially in conversation with Ida B Wells’ speeches against lynching Foucault’s Discipline and Punish.

The plot, on the other hand, is one of the most wildly idiotic things I’ve ever read.

Read this for my American Lit class, oh boy... Gross, a romanticization of the KKK. Just disgusting, I would rate it ZERO stars.
