This is my favorite x-men team and story. A must read for any fan of all things x!

It was a chunk of a book, but I am so glad I read it - and it is definitely not for kids. I'm reviewing Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force Omnibus.

This read much better on Marvel Unlimited than when I tried to follow it in trades awhile back.

Absolutely fabulous. Some of the very best X-Men work that I've ever seen. Would give it a 4.8 -- didn't care for a couple of the segments, but when it was good it was great stuff indeed. Warrants a close rereading after a bit of time has passed.

Remender Deadpool is the best Deadpool.

The entire series is available on Marvel Unlimited, so do not pay for the overpriced omnibus.

This would have worked as simply a fun, brutal, high stakes action series. But Remender elevates the story by using the (slightly cynical) premise of "what if the X-men were assassins?" as a way of exploring the psychological fallout of killing.
