Very funny take on public schools in the 50s, how to survive being a pupil, and the weird characters that inhabited these schools (probably a lot war damaged in various ways) from the point of view of an honest, humerous and non-academic schoolboy. Hilarious illustrations by Ronald Searle.

I bought this to read "Down with Skool" but I don't think that I am going to bother with the rest. I can see how it ended up being a classic, however.
