Been reading OJ books after watching the FX series and the ESPN doc. Loved the ESPN doc, but the way it presented the Las Vegas ordeal was rather confusing, so this book did much more clearly explain what happened there, at least from Mike's perspective.
Mike admits he hasn't been a good person, but he does come across as genuinely contrite. Not saying that this wasn't a second chance at a money grab (coming out in advance of the verdict of the Las Vegas trial that sent OJ away), nor selfish in the sense of being motivated by his desire not to be demonized further, but this book does shed light on how things were as an "insider."
The way I'm rating these OJ books will be based on how much I think the author's input contributes to the overall picture. This book comes from someone who sat with OJ every night after the trial while OJ signed memorabilia. He was there with OJ even after OJ moved to Florida. So, for those who are on an OJ binge, this one's worth the read.
