This book definitely held my attention. However, nothing was shocking and I found it to be predictable, which I don’t like my thrillers to be.
The ending was also a bit rushed. We obviously get the reveal of the truth and see who is lying or telling the truth and it’s only a chapter or two of a conclusion without much contact to explain the issues that came up previously in the story.
Additionally, I was doubting the situation from the beginning because it didn’t seem to make sense, so I definitely expected the unreliable narrator.
Graphic: Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Gun violence, Infertility, Infidelity, Mental illness, Miscarriage, Physical abuse, Self harm, Toxic relationship, Violence, Forced institutionalization, Blood, Stalking, Suicide attempt, Death of parent, Murder, Schizophrenia/Psychosis , Pregnancy, and Gaslighting
Minor: Animal death and Transphobia

Don't read this if you're looking for a well written thriller. Check out Tana French, CJ Tudor, or Ruth Ware and you'll be in much better hands.trashishpanda's review against another edition
Graphic: Transphobia
I don't even know the context of this book, I made it 6% and then was just done. The writing is terrible and in the 2nd chapter there is some pretty bold transphobia. It's pretty gross and uncalled for.
