“Forever my Girl” is the first book in the Beaumont Series written by Heidi McLaughlin.

Liam Page left his entire life 10 years ago to live his dream to be a musician. He broke up with his high school sweetheart, the love of his life, went to L.A. and didn't look back for ten long years. When he's read in the paper that his best friend from high school died, he decided to go back to Beaumont to give his friend his last honor. He didn't have a clue what he was about to discover.

Josie's world shattered when the love of her life broke up with her 10 years ago. She thought they were going to get married and having children. Josie's had a hart time getting her head wrapped around the fact that she was now all alone when she needed him the most.
When the husband of her best friend died, who was one her her best friends too, her wold shattered once again. She had to deal with the loss of a good friend and the possibility that Liam could show up and mess up the life she built the past ten years.

Well, how do I start? Generally I liked the book, even if I had not the “oh my god” moment. The characters were real and I could empathize with each of them.
I don't know what I was missing, but it didn't give me the warm feeling I wish I had. I was on edge the whole time and often thought, this is so not right.
I would've liked an epilogue, ‘cause it ended a little abrupt in my opinion.

All together I liked it, but it didn't rock my world. So I balance between 3 to 3.5 Stars.

I really enjoyed reading this.

It wasn't the best NA I've ever read and but it was good. It's about two high school lovers finding their way back to each other. Even though the guy dumped her in college and then disappeared out of her life... And is now a famous singer.

I was a lovely story and I continued on with the series after this one because I was curious about the other band members' stories.
