It would have been nice if there was some more information about the characters included. Maybe Charlie Bowater's drawings could be featured as well.

Well, you can't call this book really a book. ^^
However, as a die hard TMI, TID fan I just had to buy this beautiful book full of illustrations from my favourite characters! I'm very happy that this book also includes characters from Cassie's new series TDA and TLH, coming out 2017 :)
I just whished that the descriptions would have been a bit longer. Nevertheless, as a Shadowhunters fan this is (not really) a must have

To be honest I was a bit disappointed. Thou I liked some of the illustrations, there were many I really didn´t and sometimes I even wondered if more that one artist worked on them because they were so different in style. Some were painted in black and white with only a hint of colour, others were fully coloured. I preferred the later ones.
I also don´t understand, why not each character had it´s own unique motto. Regret and Secrecy existed numerous times, couldn´t there be other options?
This is really only for Shadowhunter lovers. For the content alone you shouldn´t buy it and I promise you won´t miss anything important either.

This is going to be a short review because this book isn’t a full novel, it’s a companion novel to a much larger series. I definitely recommend checking out this book if you’re a Shadowhunters fan because there’s all sorts of new information about your favourite characters and the art is absolutely stunning.
