I did a history degree so I know a lot about WWII and Hitler so I would have preferred some more personal details instead of just war things.

This book very briefly outlines and highlights all the important lessons which people should learn from this figure. Hitler secured his legacy as the most brutal dictator history has ever seen. Also it is important to see that people like him lie throughout and makes people believe that they are the divine source for everything. With revival of authoritarian tendencies across the globe it becomes much more important to look at the cracks in the society which people like filter exploitated very efficiently. More than anything Hitler proved that monsters do exist, but sadly , they aren't as obvious as shown in movies. Rather they have very human face and often lived all too human lives. His life should be a lesson to every nation and specially people that the most dangerous thing is the silence of good people when moral crisis arrive.

After reading the Holocaust stories from books Anne Frank and Man's search for Meaning, I want to know what made Hitler such monster against Jews. I picked this one in Hope of having a better insight but a lot of things are still entwined. Before, I read Mein Kampf, this one is a good warm up to know Hitler.
