There’s a lot going on and a mystery as well that is coating the story, a mystery that pertains to Arthur’s – Aquaman – reign as king. He is the true king of Atlantis but since he is half human, he finds little acceptance by the people in Atlantis. That right there is a strong foothold in the story, because it’s who he is, a fighter and defender, which brings about the loyalty of those around him. That includes Tula, the younger sister of Orm. But back to the mystery. Event’s continue to occur that put his role as king in jeopardy, and in this issue it’s the sea-quakes that rock the foundation of Atlantis whenever Arthur is there. And the Kraken, the monster that would not respond to him, that should have, that is now the split personality of the chimera.
