This play is a mixture of effective techniques and a simplistic writing style that combines to make a quick but intriguing read. It's very easy to read but it remains harder to decipher the hidden meanings behind a lot of the dialogue within the play. The story line in itself is not hugely complex and so therefore leaves the actor a substantial amount of leeway to make the character his or her own. I enjoyed the quick read but it's definitely a play that requires a lot of background research and is probably better in performance than being read from the page (as with the majority of plays).
