The more you try to eliminate your animal instincts, the more monster you become.

Har svårt att uppbåda någon större entusiasm för denna historia. Det var säkert nyskapande på sin tid men idag känns det rätt daterat.

Finally read this classic of early Sci-fi. Significant racism limits the readability in today’s world, but the concept and storytelling are provocative and engaging.

So creepy and imaginative. I love old sci-fi books. I read a series long ago called The Madman's Daughter that is based off this book, so I already knew the twist. But it was still shocking and disturbing. This book is very insightful about society and religion and human nature. Definitely a must read.
