Truthfully, I wish I had more to say about this book, but it didn't particularly amaze me. While it was interesting, I think that because I haven't read the full series, this prequel didn't hit me in the feels the same way it might for other "true fans." Oftentimes, I feel like starting with a prequel is a great idea because it helps me understand the rest of the series better, but it was clear this one was written for individuals who were already well-versed in the rest of the series.
What I will say is that Kit Young did a fantastic job with the narration and I hope that more audiobooks are performed by him in the future. It made me extra excited to watch the movie once I've read the first official book in the original series. I was definitely interested in the story and I hope that what I read moving forward really blows me away.
