I didn’t love nor hate this book it was a good read the intimate scenes in here were very😩i don't really know what to say with this book it’s spicy with a happy ending and no cliffhangers it has no cheating and no love triangles some of the tropes are Second Chance Romance, Enemies to Lovers, Arranged Marriage and many more overall i rated this book a 3 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️ and now I’m gonna start the next one

Dark mafia romance, surprisingly sweet at times. The epilogue almost got me and raised my rating by a half star. As Finn says, “apparently cozy and crime go hand in hand”.

So...are we all just ignoring that the love interest raped her?

I like dark romances, but there is a difference between CNC play and rape. And in this story there were no rules established just because she planned to have sex with him and got wet does not erase the fact that she did not want it and he ignores her asking for a safeword.
BDSM: yes, but the sadist/dom has to act responsabily if you want to sell the story as a dark ROMANCE and not an erotic fantasy short story and as this is marketed as a dark romance the romance part does not work

this had me feeling ALL the emotions. i swear summer put my heart through it every chapter and literally up until the end. i, naively, thought everything was okay, but NOPE she got me in the last chapter. this is my favorite book of the series so far because FINN?!?! man he pissed me off a lot in this, but i also was just so in love with him. also EFFIE!?!?! i am on my knees for that woman. the scene in the strip club in his office?? iykyk but that solidified my love for her. this is a DARK romance, so pls be mindful of the content warnings for the entire series!!
