Fast and short read endorsing the idea of making good art even if it is bad.

It's a rallying salute to hope, authenticity and the advice born from experience and the regrets of not having listened sooner. Riddell's illustrations are on-point and a perfect marriage to Gaiman's humour and creativity.

A perfect gift for those who are just starting out and stepping into the world. A hoorah for the love of reading and libraries!

This is so cute- and inspiring! My mum got it for me for a little Valentine's day gift, and I enjoyed reading it this morning with some tea. Will read again

Cute, and inspiring book. But it is pretty short for its price. It is definitely worth a read if you like art of any kind. I like the sections about ideas and libraries the best. The pictures are neat and the book is very aesthetically pleasing. All in all, I'm glad I read it, and I think other people would enjoy reading it as well. Especially people that appreciate art and artists and libraries.

If you are an artist, this is a must read in my opinion, no matter which flavour. Encouraging, honest and pointed. It is short, it is beautiful, there is no reason not giving it a try.
